Easy Slow Cooked Shredded Greek Beef

Melissa from our Front of House team, highly suggests this quick and easy meal. Ideal for the whole family. Bonus you are able to jazz up this dish and serve it in a few different ways.
Easy Slow Cooked Shredded Greek Beef:
If you have a slow cooker this is the easiest and most versatile way to cook up cheap cuts of beef and is mouth-wateringly good!
Simply get any cut of stewing meat like chuck steak or beef cheek, cut into large palm-sized chunks and place in the slow cooker. Add plain yoghurt, enough to coat the beef in a good thick jacket and a little more for some added moisture! Add salt, pepper, 2-3 large cloves of grated garlic, the juice of a whole lemon and approximately a tablespoon of dried Oregano. Stir and fully mix and coat all the beef. Turn the slow cooker on to low and cook for anywhere between 4 -8 hours depending on your slow cooker. The meat should fall apart and shred up, just stir it
It’s really great in wraps with crisp raw veges & tzatziki, salads, sandwiches with Hummus or even on its own with fresh veges, roast or mashed potatoes. Just make sure you add the yummy juices to your dressings or as a light gravy on your meal!
