I joined my first Blitz at the beginning of 2021 having never taken part in any sort of group training program before, nor ever successfully kept up a gym membership!
The Blitz program under the expert tutelage of Mark Murray pretty much changed my life. I was overweight and unfit before starting and, naturally, pretty nervous about how I would go. But the philosophy of the Blitz program - that you are working towards fitness goals and the classes are one component of living healthier overall - made it a very non-intimidating and encouraging environment to work out in. It's definitely a challenge too, but a rewarding one.
I've done four Blitz programs over the last two years and have lost nearly 20kg during that time. I can hand-on-heart say I wouldn't have achieved that without Mark Murray and the Blitz program at Arena Fitness & Boxing.
I really enjoyed doing the Blitz, more than I expected as I don’t normally do group workouts.
Mark kept the workouts challenging while being achievable and pushed us all; the group were also a great bunch of people and supportive of each other so it was a nice and safe environment to work out in.
I would definitely recommend the blitz to anyone wanting to push themselves and to achieve results. I certainly feel stronger!
Blitz is a fun group orientated way to get fit.
I find committing to something like this helps me to regularly show up at the gym. It’s easy to come up with an excuse not to go, but joining something like this helps me to keep going. My results were very good until Covid arrived which interrupted things somewhat. We were supported during lockdown with workouts to do from home and then we continued the rest once lockdown lifted.
I am looking forward to starting the next round of blitz and doing way better with my results this time.
