H.I.I.T is for maximum results. High Intensity Interval Training that will assist you to get fit super-fast, trim down, build strength and power… experience 6 weeks of intensity that will maximise your training threshold. kind of like bootcamp…but way better!
The program begins with a pre-program assessment session in the arena fitness studio. We'll explain the foundation and functional movements relating to this program to identify any restrictions. We'll also demonstrate the primary movements used throughout this program, cover nutrition and supplementary exercise, and complete your measure for the program using the TABATA Test. This session is essential to attend if you are participating in the program.
After the initial assessment, sessions will be held twice weekly, located at The Trusts Arena. Where possible, sessions will be held outdoors in the arena grounds, using both the Douglas Track & Field, and some fun (effective) training equipment including kettlebells, powerbags and more…

Depending on the injury type, we can adapt exercises around your pre-existing condition. But you will need to advise us prior so we can advise you whether you can participate or not.
To participate in this program you need to have been exercising at least 1-2 times per week for the past 12 weeks. This is a progressive program so you will work to your own individual level. If you have any concerns around your fitness level feel free to enquire and talk to us about it first.
Our programs are monitored and led with no less than one instructor. Education and correct technique spotting is what makes us different from any other boot camp type training. Our sessions are all about form and function – and the pre-program assessment session will set you up for this. In this session you will be introduced to the H.I.I.T Team for the 6 weeks, go through a thorough assessment process that includes positional assessments, learn about the science behind high intensity interval training, learn about this thing called "Tabata", understand and learn about exercise form and function, AND we will do our initial Tabata Test to find your starting level.
